Christina Jezioro
Christina is the founder of The Dragonfly Nest, where she centers her practice on helping people deepen their human experience and live more embodied, present lives. At the heart of her work is a non-pathologizing approach to care, grounded in a deep respect for living things, the wisdom of the body, and the natural rhythms of aliveness. Rather than viewing healing as something to be achieved or a problem to be fixed, Christina’s work honors the complexity of being human and the many ways we learn to survive, adapt, connect, create, and become.
She is a fully licensed professional counselor, Certified Brainspotting Practitioner, and Usui Reiki Master, with advanced and experiential training in mindfulness, somatic work, attachment trauma, Internal Family Systems, energetic healing, and play therapy and expressive arts approaches. She is also receiving long-term mentorship in psychedelic-assisted therapy and has completed specialized training in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy and Brainspotting.
Christina believes that trauma processing does not have to exist solely within the language of sickness or pain. Creativity, curiosity, play, and imagination can be meaningful parts of the processing experience, creating space to explore what lives beneath words and allowing healing to unfold through the body, expression, relationship, and discovery.
She has dedicated her life to walking alongside people through complex struggles and transformative experiences while remaining rooted in her own love of music, laughter, family, creativity, and nature. A published songwriter, Christina previously served as Clinical Director of the music-based addiction treatment center Recovery Unplugged, where she supported individuals navigating early recovery while weaving her creative gifts into the healing process.
For Christina, creativity and healing are deeply intertwined. To create is to heal has become a guiding mantra for both her life and her work.

Christina says:
“My clients are often creative people hoping to harness their power, individuals who have experienced early childhood trauma, or people who simply feel wounded. Our body memories and old stories can often be limiting us from our fullest potential of healing. With a neuro-experiential framework, I offer specializations in life transitions, attachment wounds, relational healing, addictions and self soothing behaviors, building self worth, LGBTQIA+ issues, and managing complex emotions.”
Background
Christina’s background is in both in-patient and out-patient settings, with leadership experience in residential addiction centers. She has also participated in group practice work, provided clinical supervision, and facilitated workshops. She integrates modalities such as Brainspotting, Somatic Experiencing, Reiki, IFS (Internal Family Systems/part work), Sand Tray, and Expressive Arts Therapy into intensive trauma healings sessions with a loving curiosity for the areas that need your attention.
“My hope is that therapy with me can feel like pouring compassion into those parts of you that may have once been burdened with shame, fear, or silencing. I hold space for human beings to explore, release and welcome in whatever is needed for them to flourish and thrive. Therapy isa sacred opportunity for your system’s inherent ability to heal itself.”
